The Senator, however, said that he didn’t get anything from the sharing.

Recall that in an interview with BBC Hausa during the weekend, Ningi, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), alleged the budget was padded and that President Bola Tinubu is currently implementing two different budgets.

Meanwhile, after the debate on Tuesday, the Senate suspended Senator Ningi for three months over the allegation he brought that the National Assembly passed two versions of the 2024 budget.

Ibrahim, who represents Ondo South Senatorial District, also moved that the senate should send a note of warning to the Senator representing Kano South Suleiman Kawu for posting inciting information on social media, and demand that he (Kawu) tenders an apology.
