The Democrats want to make Donald Trump the “face of the Republican Party”, for “obvious reasons”, says Centre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker.

“There’s a symbiotic relationship … between Trump and the Democratic Party,” Mr Hinderaker said.

“He’s the guy that they can think that even Joe Biden can beat in 2024 and of course Trump wants to be the focus of attention.”
