Apart from its premium foldable smartphone, the Mate X3, and its flagship P60 series, Huawei also announced a slew of wearables at the 2023 Huawei Spring flagship product launch conference in China.

The wearables include Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+, Huawei FreeBuds 5, and the Huawei TalkBand B7.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ Specification and Features

The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ is quite similar to the FreeBuds Pro 2 in design.

The FreeBuds Pro 2+ come with 11mm dynamic drivers that have a 30% driving force improvement, low frequency support, HiRes, L2HC, LDAC, HD spatial audio, Active Noise Cancellation up to 47dB.

The earpods come with a dual heart rate and body temperature monitoring system which Huawei claims has a high accuracy of 95%.

The FreeBuds Pro 2+ runs HarmonyOS and comes with Android’s dual ecosystem high-definition audio transmission.

The earpods offer three audio modes that include Concert hall, sound theater, and movie theater which you can choose from to customize your experience.

It comes with a six-axis sensor to ensure a 360 degree high-definition surround sound. Its smart dynamic noise reduction 2.0 allows you to listen without outside noise interference.

The earpods can be connected to multiple devices at the same time.

Huawei FreeBuds 5 Specification and Features

The Huawei FreeBuds 5 comes in a very unique water droplet shape. The earbuds have apparently been designed that way to separate out units for the sound, battery and the circuit board.

It’s built to reduce comfort noise, which is the synthetic background sound in wireless communication, and also has active noise cancellation support of ANC 3.0.

It comes with support for L2HC and LDAC. It has an 11mm driver with Sound Pressure Turbo technology that delivers clear sound and vocals.

The company claims the FreeBuds 5 has been optimized with an ultra-wideband real-time hearing algorithm which calculates the user’s ear canal structure and delivers clear sound, all in a time period of 2 seconds.

The FreeBuds 5 can last up to 30 hours and has support for 5C fast charging. The company claims the earbuds can be used for up to 2 hours with 5 minutes of charging.

Huawei TalkBand B7 Specification and Features

The TalkBand B7 succeeds the company’s TalkBand 6. The fitness tracker comes in a titanium stainless steel unibody and features a 1.53-inch 3D curved AMOLED display.

The TalkBand B7 comes with several health trackers such as PPG heart-rate monitor, SpO2 tracker, menstrual cycle tracker, sleep and stress monitor, and 10 sports modes.

The fitness tracker runs on Huawei’s Kirin A1 chipset, and is compatible with HarmonyOS 2.0, Android 7, and iOS 9.0 versions and above.

The fitness tracker includes several other features such as quick reply, camera and music control, and Alipay quick payment.

The TalkBand B7 comes with a 120mAh battery which can be charged via a Type-C port. The tracker is waterproof.

Price and Availability

The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ is priced at 1499 yuan (Rs. 17,981 approximately) and will be available for purchase from April 7 onwards in China.

The Huawei FreeBuds 5 are available in three color variants: Frost Silver, Ceramic White, and Coral Orange. It comes for 899 yuan (Rs. 10,784 approx.) and will be available for buyers from March 30 onwards.

The Huawei TalkBand B7 is avalable two variants: a silicon strap and another with a leather strap. While the silicon strap variant of the TalkBand B7 is priced at 999 yuan (Rs. 11,983 approx.), the leather strap variant comes for 1,199 yuan (Rs. 14382). The Huawei TalkBand B7 will be available from March 30 onwards.
