Stormers coach John Dobson compared his team’s 40-22 defeat to the Bulls on Saturday that ended their unbeaten United Rugby Championship run to a never-ending car crash.

The Stormers were always behind the eight-ball when they conceded a second-minute try from a rolling maul and things hardly got better in the first half.

Johan Goosen’s boot punished almost every mistake they made and at some point in the first stanza, they trailed 19-5.
