Trade Minister Don Farrell has announced he will be heading to China “very soon” to discuss trade issues.

“We’re all about stabilising our relationship with China, the problems that we’ve had with our trade situation didn’t occur overnight,” Mr Farrell told Sky News Australia.

“Unfortunately they’re not going to be resolved overnight, but we need to progress them, we need to be persistent, and to persevere and one by one, I am hopeful – in fact I’m confident that we will resolve all of our outstanding issues with the Chinese government.”
